When a child needs to undergo treatment for cancer, the most important thing for parents is to be with their child day and night.
A Parent-Child service has been developed specifically for this purpose at the Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
There are 85 rooms designed to accommodate the children and their parents, and parents who are staying with their child can also have breakfast together in the room.
However, these costs are not covered by health insurance companies and parents must therefore pay for themselves.
Your donations allow the Prinses Máxima Center to offer breakfast to these parents. But this goes far beyond breakfast, as this also forms a precious moment between the parents and their child.
